What happens if we try to do everything on our own?

In this blog, we’ll see why handling all technical things by yourself isn’t always a good idea especially if you don’t have solid knowledge in the domain you’re diving into. So how does it help you in the bigger picture?

My name is Pradhumen, and I’ll give you a proper understanding of why most websites or even app development projects don’t get completed successfully. It’s a very common thing in humans to try “doing all the work by ourselves.” Sometimes it’s good like when you’re the elder brother or sister at home. But in the real world, this mind-set doesn’t always work.

AI and many tools are available in the market, and thanks to the internet, you can find many things quickly. But that doesn’t mean just by searching something, you can do it perfectly. Website development, mobile app development, SEO these things take time and experience. If you try to do them yourself, maybe you’ll complete 40%, or even 50%. But for the remaining part, you’ll need someone’s help. And by that time, you’ve already put in your time and energy, and now someone else has to redo things because many technical aspects were not done correctly.

So the advice is: do the work in the domain where you are strong. Spend your time there. For the other tasks especially the ones that can bring you profit hire the right person with a good understanding of the domain. With their help, you’ll get your work done more efficiently.

People made their first simple websites using CMS, then what?

I’ve seen many people in this industry trying to create WordPress websites on their own because it’s free and everyone wants to try it at least once. But what happens after that? When people try to bring their imagination to life on such platforms, they slowly realize that the work isn’t as easy as it seemed.

Every CMS is designed in a way that makes the initial tasks smooth. But once you need the most useful features, those are often paid. And some features aren’t even included easily. People think about them but can’t apply them instantly. That’s when they realize they need an experienced developer to complete the job.

Now, the CMS turns into a revenue-generating model you become dependent on that framework. You need the features, so you have to pay. So first, grab the basic industry knowledge. If you're creating your website, choose the framework or CMS wisely.

Why is Research and Development (R&D) so important?

Humans have multiple thoughts popping into their minds every single second. But most people don’t check whether the idea they’re thinking of already exists in the market or not. They think, “Yes, this is a nice idea, I’ll go with it, and I’ll succeed 101%.” They don’t even research small things and that’s the problem.

If you’re building a new website, mobile app, or some related things, then you need to spend at least month on thinking and doing R&D on it. Ask yourself: is this solving a real-world problem, or just something in your mind? Once you have proper data and clarity, then you should start building. Otherwise, after some time, you’ll feel bored and drop the idea thinking it was never meant to succeed.

Buying a domain quickly is that the right decision?

When it comes to buying something, most people don’t take time. If the price is cheap, they quickly buy it. The same case applies to website development. If someone has a random idea and then sees a domain available, they buy it instantly without thinking about the future. That’s a major issue.

When you’re into something new, you connect with it quickly. And even if someone gives you technical advice, you don’t get deeply involved you just buy. So take your time. Think about whether you really need it or not. Then make a decision accordingly it will benefit you across all your projects.

Conclusion

This is a modern world things are made quickly. But you still need to wait and think before taking actions. Actions are not like “do it and revert later.” Yes, they give you lessons, but what if reading a blog or book helps you avoid those mistakes? It can save your time and money. Hire the right people or agencies that take care of your project. If you have any website or mobile app development needs, feel free to connect with us.
